NPN Classics was born from a mix of two passions: electronics and classic BMWs. The name itself nods to the legendary NPN transistor – a key innovation in electronics – and the timeless appeal of cars like the BMW E30.

It all started over 15 years ago when I bought my first E30. Like many enthusiasts, I ran into issues with the instrument cluster. As an electronics engineer, I decided to fix it myself. Word got around, and soon other members of the BMW community began asking for help. That’s when I designed my first products – simple, DIY-friendly solutions to common cluster problems.

What began as a personal project evolved into something bigger. Under the name GE30Pro, I spent years helping fellow enthusiasts restore their dashboards and keep their classics on the road. Eventually, I saw the potential to do more, and NPN Classics was officially launched.

At npnclassics.com, you'll find high-quality electronic boards and components designed specifically for E30, E28 and more, instrument clusters – all made to make repairs easier and more accessible. We’re also expanding to offer other components and services tailored to the needs of classic BMW lovers, including full cluster restoration.
